Our History
A Legacy Across Generations…
1960 - Makhachkala, Dagestan
Our story begins with Arslan Hajiev, who led a monument manufacturing workshop in the central cemetery of Makhachkala. His exceptional craftsmanship and dedication laid the foundation for Hajiev Stones, turning a cooperative into a private business after the Soviet collapse.
1994–2004 – A New Chapter of Unity
A pivotal moment in our history occurred when Arslan’s daughter, Sona, married Ilgar. Their union, a harmonious blend of different cultures and traditions, became the cornerstone of a vision for uniting diverse perspectives in business and craftsmanship. Together, they expanded their father’s legacy, emphasizing innovation and quality. This partnership was further strengthened in 2004 with the establishment of the state-of-the-art Marble-Granite Plant, making Hajiev Stones a leader in high-quality granite production.
2011 - Expansion into Europe:
The family’s vision extended into Europe, reaching countries like Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Turkey, and Russia. Their high-quality granite, sourced globally and refined with exceptional care, has set a standard for excellence across the region.
2022 - Remembrance Headstones in the United States:
The Hajiev family’s latest venture, Remembrance Headstones, expanded into the United States. With five gallery locations opened in 2022, the company proudly brings its premium granite and services to new shores, upholding its commitment to quality, competitive pricing, and cultural respect.
